Triangle To Build First Building on New Northwest Campus for Greenville Tech
T riangle Construction Company of Greenville has been awarded the construction contract for the first administrative and classroom building in the new Northwest Campus for Greenville Technical College.
The two-story structural steel and masonry veneer building will total 110,000 square feet. The building will include administration, a conference center, computer labs, and classrooms including chemistry, biology, physical science, and nursing. Also included will be expanded headquarters for the college’s popular Culinary Arts program, a program that has outgrown facilities on the Barton Campus. The Northwest Campus will provide a state-of-the-art facility that will include a working restaurant, a demonstration kitchen, an herb garden, and a greenhouse.
The 165-acre Northwest Campus is located on US 25.
Architect and engineers for the project is Enwright Associates, Inc. of Greenville.
The construction schedule calls for the building to be completed in October 2007.
